Granite is also great for splashbacks in bathrooms, giving a luxury look that can be applied in single slabs, obviating the need for grouting between tiles.
Granite is a tough, igneous rock formed from volcanic magma which is quarried in slabs – cut from the earth like slices of bread. When you order granite worktops for your bathroom from us our stonemasons will hand cut, polish and seal the stone slabs ready to be installed by our experts.
We can cut holes to accommodate a sink into a piece of granite for bathroom vanity tops, although a modern design trend is to have a basin standing on top of the bathroom counter.
Because it is a natural material no two slabs of granite are exactly the same. You can choose from various shades, but each piece of rock comes with its own distinctive veining and patterning.
